The WooExpert Awards: Americas, 2023

At WordCamp U.S., which was held on August 24 – 26th, Woo presented awards to top WooExperts in a number of categories. In this post, we’ll describe each award and introduce you to the winning agencies.

What are WooExperts?

WooExperts are an elite group of full-service agencies specializing in all things WooCommerce — from large-scale site builds and custom development to complex integrations, store optimization, and more.Membership to the WooExpert Program is exclusive. Member agencies are thoroughly vetted and verified by the Woo team to ensure that the highest standard of work is maintained.

WooExpert Regional Annual Awards

This year, we recognized five agencies in both the European and U.S. regions for their work as new agencies, creative innovators, open source champions, great experience providers, and top performers. Each agency has demonstrated exceptional skills, commitment, and innovation within the WooExpert Program, and we are incredibly proud to have them as part of our community.

The Newcomer Award: Zao

This award recognizes significant contributions made by an agency new to the WooExpert program. This agency has shown an eagerness to get involved with the Woo team, contribute to the program, and grow with Woo. Award nominees are proposed by the Woo program managers and winners are confirmed by vote.

As an agency new to the program, Zao’s contributions have already made a significant impact on the Woo community. They have onboarded new Woo merchants with impressive efficiency and have demonstrated excellent responsiveness, initiative, and an eagerness to move forward in the program. 

The Open Source Champion Award: WPSpins

This award acknowledges an agency that actively gives back to the WordPress community through contributions to core, participation in meetups, and thought leadership.
