This review looks at a piece of software that enables you to do precisely that: Videeo.
In this Videeo review, we’ll explore what it does, its key features, prices, and pros and cons. Hopefully, by the end of this blog post, you’ll have a better idea of whether or not it’s a suitable option for your Shopify store.
If you don’t have time to read my entire Videeo review, here’s a quick summation of my findings:
Videeo is an incredibly new Shopify app that seems like a handy live-streaming service. It lets you host shoppable live streams on your Shopify store, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
It provides an excellent way to create a more engaging and immersive shopping experience.
However, it’s pretty expensive and only available to those in the US, so you’ll need to look elsewhere if you’re residing outside the US and on a tight budget.
That’s enough preamble; let’s dive into the nitty-gritty of this Videeo review:
Videeo Pros and Cons
- It’s quick and easy to install into your Shopify store (it only takes five minutes).
- You can live stream 24/7
- Customer support is reportedly excellent.
- You can manage guests participating in your live stream (you can mute them or place them in Videeo’s digital waiting room).
- The Shopify App Store page doesn’t list Videeo’s prices.
- Videeo’s pricing plans seem pretty expensive.
- One user reported they had a couple of connection issues (however, once they managed to get reconnected, things ran smoothly)
What is Videeo?
Launched in July 2023, Videeo is built on CommentSold’s technology. This new kid on the block is free to download from the Shopify App Store and can be installed in as little as five minutes.
At the time of writing, CommentSold is unavailable outside the US. But watch this space because CommentSold plans to expand further afield.
Videeo eagles you to host live streams on your Shopify store, Facebook, and Instagram. Videeo…
