Shopify data shows record start for Black Friday weekend

E-commerce Shopify’s global merchants achieved record sales of US$4.1 billion during Black Friday, a 22 per cent increase over last year’s period. The top selling countries were the US, the UK, and Canada, while the average cart price was US$110.71 globally, the data shows.
