Is it worth investing in an affiliate marketing training program? In my opinion, for some people it is but not all. In this article I’ll tell you exactly how they work and what the alternatives are.

General Concept Of Learning

There is a learning curve in aff. marketing. Sure, some people earn a ton of money in no time but these are the lucky few who either have a great stroke of luck or were just in the right place at the right time.

For most people, there is a learning curve and you must learn concepts such as basic technical website skills, copywriting and other marketing concepts.

So what purpose does an affiliate marketing training program serve then? Let’s take a closer look.

Training Programs

Training programs are usually designed to teach people with very little knowledge of aff. marketing. For example, they would make a great gift for a friend who has expressed an interest in making money on the internet as an affiliate.

Week by week you are drip fed with as much new information as you can handle. You also do practical stuff so gradually you are building up a web presence and building traffic and therefore making money.

Not For Everyone

But they’re not for everyone. If you’ve been online trying to make money for five years then such programs will not be for you. You will already know most of the information and unfortunately there is no way yet to unlearn what you already know and then relearn it in the right way!

But on the other hand, if you’ve only been working on aff. marketing for less than two years but you want to make as quick a transition as possible to becoming full-time then training programs are an excellent way to succeed. Within just two or three months you could go full-time.
